Have you been given feedback from your tutors telling you to improve your academic writing style? Do you ever read over your work and think it lacks a certain eloquence or elegance? Are you happy with the content of your written assignments but feel that they need a little more 'va va voom?' This module is designed to help you to develop an academic writing style to use in your written assignments. Throughout this module you will be given extracts of academic writing to evaluate, the content of these may not be relevant to your subject, but don't worry, you only need to concentrate on the writing style.
This topic is aimed at university students, and anyone who needs to achieve a formal, academic tone in their writing.
Each page in this topic will take 10-20 minutes to complete, so if you work through the whole topic it will take you about 2 hours to complete.
