Make sure you have more money than you spend - not the other way around.
Cut down on all your major outgoing as much as possible - rent, bills, phones and insurance.
Pay attention to where your money is going. How much are you spending on clothes, food, coffees and nights out? Can you cut back?
I have seen all kinds of students make it through university, from those who get a brand new car every year to those who have to work on weekends to afford the basics, but they all made it through uni and with a little planning and careful spending you should be able join them as a graduate.
