1. <cell biology> Secondary lysosomes containing material that cannot be digested.
2. <biology> The surplus cytoplasm shed by spermatids during their differentiation to spermatozoa. Usually the cytoplasm from several spermatids connected by cytoplasmic bridges.
3. <microbiology> Surplus cytoplasm containing pigment and left over after production of merozoites during schizogony of malaria parasites.
