A unilateral, suppurative, necrotic inflammation of the conjunctiva characterised by scattered, elevated white spots in the fornices and palpebral conjunctiva, and ipsilateral swelling of preauricular, parotid, and submaxillary lymph glands.
Synonyms: Pascheff's conjunctivitis.
