5(3-((1,1-dimethylethyl)amino)-2-hydroxypropoxy)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2,3-naphthaenediol. A non-selective beta-adrenergic antagonist with a long half-life, used in cardiovascular disease to treat arrhythmias, angina pectoris, and hypertension. Nadolol is also used for migraine and for tremor.

Pharmacological action: adrenergic beta-antagonists, anti-arrhythmia agents, antihypertensive agents, sympatholytics.
