<assessment> A procedure whereby the markers of examination scripts are unaware of the identity of the students taking the exam.
The purpose of anonymous marking is to eliminate any bias which might exist on the part of examiners and to quality assure the marking process that the marking process is impartial.
Anonymous marking should enhance objectivity.
