A lymphoproliferative disease of fowl and chickens caused by a herpes virus.
Widespread lymphoid cell infiltrations are seen, particularly in the peripheral nerves and gonads. It can involve the visceral organs, skin, muscle, and the iris of the eye. Symptoms are dependent on the location of the infection within the body.
