LEEP

I'm a medical transcriptionist in the UK, taking a test for a contract in Australia and worked and lived in USA for 25 years. One of the op reports I'm asked to type for the test is on what I know as a LEEP or loop electrocautery excision procedure, but it sounds as though the doctor in Australia is saying it's a SLP procedure or something like that. I've researched and can't find this. Any ideas?
