Hi, this is Adarsh from India and I am new to the forum and presenting a quote by Monroe Forester "Hope is always available to us. When we feel defeated, we need only take a deep breath and say, "Yes," and hope will reappear." Thanks
Hi All, This is Harry Jacky from Med101store.com. It's been a very good thing to note that there have been peace and prosperity all around. That's been a very nice thing and considering me, I am really a kind of person who indulges in all kinds of activities to ensure goodwill. So that's one reason why I am really interested in reading forums to gain a lot of knowledge and learning about diverse cultures and background. I want to gain much of the knowledge and experience through self-learning by reading, in the workplace, or through various other life experiences. As part of my being a person with an adventurous bent of mind I can always rely on the discussions being made in the forum. This will really help me in more ways than one, thus allowing me to get that extra edge over my contemporaries. So I really expect to share my views alongwith other forum members. So I am really looking forward to a very happy, enjoyable and fruitful experience altogether. Thanks Harry Jacky
Hello! I am Julie. Nice to meet you! I am newbie too. I came across this forum and surf with this forum.I like it much and looks informative. I would like to say hello to all the forum members. Hope have a good time with you all.
I am fed and fat and not related to the medical field at all but I thought I would like some advice from those in the "know" so to speak. My loving uncle was a research specialist and teacher at Harvard and then eventually with the government board of immunology. I was very close to him and respected him greatly but now that he is gone I need some folks to help me along what is left of my life. I am 70 tomorrow and I have always been concerned with my diet and exercise and while employed as a prison guard I had to stay in shape. My knees went south and I had a partial knee replacement and stopped all exercising. I eschew exercise now and the food I eat tastes terrible. I live alone due to a divorce of my own making and if that was not bad enough I am terribly in debt. America is on the way down and is now pretty close to being a third world country and I have noticed that our food does not taste as good as it once did. I can taste the chemical induction and all the fats and when I finish eating I have a bad taste in my mouth and brushing my teeth assuages most of that. I am hoping to find a new way of eating wholesome foods but I have no teachers. That is why I am here, you could help me if you want to but I am not pressuring anyone. I have to take psychotic drugs, Lexapro, Xanax and they cause my metabolism to slow down or so I have learned from my doctors. Eating has never been a favorite time for me, you would not know that to look at me. I have a beer belly now and I weigh 252 LBS and when I was a prison guard and married I was a trim 175 and 6feet 1inch tall. No more as now I am retired. I look terrible and feel terrible. Help me please. I am a hermit also due to my lack of social skills lost while working with convicts.
